EUROPEAN TRADE
AND EORI NUMBERS

On the 31st December 2020, the United Kingdom will be leaving the European Union and the transitional period is expected to end. Although negotiations are still ongoing between the UK and the EU, it is unclear what the standing will be on the 1st January 2021.

During these uncertain times, Bespoke Stairlifts, along with many UK businesses, are planning for the worst-case scenario where a trade deal isn’t reached by the UK and EU. If this is the case, the UK will revert to World Trade Organisation rules (WTO).

The UK will be considered a “third country” for import duty purposes which would result in our stairlifts attracting duty at 0%.

All our European partners will need to provide us with an Economic Operators Registration Number (EORI) so we can continue exporting our products and rails to you.

Bespoke look forward to continuing our partnership and trading with you in the future.

We will continue to give our dealers continued support, no matter what the outcome and assist when and where required.

For your records, Bespoke Stairlifts’ EORI number is

GB159251890000
