JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to continued business growth we are now looking to recruit experienced free hand rail fabricators.

ROLE

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the following:

Fabricating and assembling stairlift products from technical drawings using MIG weld and various methods of assembly
Working to standardised methods and to the company’s tolerances and guidelines
Working safely at all times following work instructions and maintaining a clean working environment
Embracing our ‘Zero Harm’ approach to safety
Working efficiently to produce high-quality product
Contributing to our Continuous Improvement approach and actively help to reduce waste in our processes
Undertake other duties if necessary ie. operating laser cutting or bending
machines where required (training will be provided).

REQUIREMENTS

You will have:

Candidates must be positive and enthusiastic and support a ‘can do’ attitude
Candidate should have a Welding Fabricator Certificate and/or at least 5 years experience
Candidates must be reliable and support a continuous improvement culture
Willingness to learn and embrace new ideas
Ability to work as part of a team and be self-motivated
Able to use electric hand tools, grinders
Able to read and understand drawings
Have a good understanding of Health and Safety and can maintain safe and clean working environment.
